The idea of the Competition is to promote and reward the most innovative entities from the Silesian Voivodeship. Companies and R&D institutions that undertake innovative changes by introducing the latest technologies, new products or services, and thus achieve business or scientific successes are distinguished. This year Łukasiewicz Research Network became a laureate in the category of the R&D Institution and received the Special Award of the President of the Management Board of GAPR (Upper-Silesian Accelerator for Commercial Enterprises Ltd.) for the Manufacturing Technology of Feedstock Materials for Applications in 3D Printing Technology – Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) and High-Performance 3D_WAAM Printing Technology of Elements Working in a Corrosive Marine Environment, Including Ship Propellers.
Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals . Thanks to this distinction, we received the right to use the logotype of the competition for marking goods (wires, development of aluminum bronze printing technology).
